I have purchased two of the new NSR F1 cars and yes they are really good out of the box BUT having had a couple of very low impact hits against the barriers two of my cars red motor pods have been smashed. The weak areas seem to be around the rear axle bearing supports.

NSR 86-89 Formula 1. NSR are best known for high quality Modern-GT & Classic-GT cars. Founded by the late Salvatori Noviello, NSR have been manufacturing for about 15 years. Design and manufacture has been based in the NSR factory in Salerno, Italy since 2010. Since the death of Salvatori and the departure of chief designer, Giovanni Montiglio. All NSR are handling bodies and not to scale, this is long accepted practice for them and part of their design to make them better racers than lookers. This is one great car to drive though but beware on smaller home tracks as they are really too fast and responsive (especially with basic homeset controllers).

My biggest gripe with the Slot.It cars used to be that you had to spend a further 25.00 on bits to put it into A/W configuration. But guess what I have a lot more Slot.It cars than NSR and I think that is due to the initial purchase price being 30-35.00 rather than 50-60.00. I do like that particular NSR GT40 livery very much. I enjoy driving GT40 slot cars - Scalextric, Fly, S and NSR. All four handle quite differently on track. It's the NSR that needs taming the most - probably not unlike the real thing.
